The shooter is the 1st game type added to sploder, and was the only game type for the 1st two years sploder was around. The shooter's gameplay is usually oriented around action, puzzles and (to a lesser extent) exploration.

Gameplay
To move the ship, you have to click the mouse on a empty space and move the mouse around. The controls are the same for controlling the robot. There are also enemies that can try to kill you, and helpers that help you.
